Week 2 in KL

18 Mar 2013 | Hits: 358

The first Tournament has completed unfortunately I lost in the Semi Final against up and coming Rachel Arnold from Malaysia.  I felt I didn't play very well on the day but this being only my 2nd tournament back it is still very hard to know how I am going to react day in day out.  I felt the body was very tight and stiff on the Semi final day, I also was receiving a bit of pain in my ankle joint as it seems that when I am competing for a few days in arrow it builds up to the point where it starts to ache and making it difficult for me to move quickly off the mark.

Rachel played really well forcing me to be as uncomfortable as possible on court as I found it hard to get rhythm and settle in to the match.

I have now moved accommodation and have settled into the Majalis Sukan Negara Malaysia (Malaysian Sports Institute) which I will call home for the next 9 days.  The deals is I train with Malaysian Institute players while I am here in exchange to receiving a twin room for the 9 nights.  The accommodation is very basic dorm a room with 2 single beds, a desk and cupboard to hang your clothes I am sharing with lovely Line Hansen from Denmark :)  I put this time down to character building, living in very basic  room with very little normality around.  Its the every day to day life hurdles and working things out on how to get everything done from training to washing clothes to entertaining ourselves that makes the experience worth while.

Here is a photo dump of Malaysia.
