Last night I was awarded the 2010 WISPA Most Improved Player of the Year at Grand Central Station in New York City. It is a huge honour to achieve this award and I want to say thank you to those who have helped me get to where I am today. I have to mention the Australian Institute of Sport who have supported me throughout my professional career and to the Australian Sports Commission, whose financial help has provided me the opportunity to travel the world to compete on the International Tour. I also want to say a special mention to AIS coach, Rod Martin. I moved to New York 2 years ago to work more closely with him and was the best decision I have ever made.
