My Story
I am a 19 year old Australian, living in one of the best places in the world...Melbourne! I am currently studying a Bachelor of Criminal Justice at RMIT University in Melbourne, whilst representing Australia on the WSA World Squash Circuit.
In 2013, I had the honour of representing Australia at the World Junior Squash Championships which were held in Wroclaw, Poland. Here, I participated in the Individual event and the teams event, playing and meeting people from all over the world and gaining lifelong friends and memories. Along with representing Australia, I have played for Victoria at the Australian Junior Squash Championship since 2007 and was selcted as the female captain in 2011, 2012 and 2013.
I am currently coached by ex world champion and world number 1 Cassie Thomas (nee Jackman) and my father Mark Stoneham, who have supported me in gaining the number 1 ranking in Under 19 Girls in Victoria and the number 5 ranking in Under 19 girls in Australia.
Squash has given me so many opportunies to travel and meet so many amazing people. Everytime you step on court, Squash challenges you in all aspects - mentally, physically and emotionally which is what I love about the sport!
