My Story
I started playing squash at the age of 10 when my family was living in Rockhampton and have not stopped since. This is where i developed a love for the game and whilst the way i'm invloved in squash has evolved since then, my complete passion for squash has not changed. When i was 15 my family moved to Brisbane for my Dad's work and it turned to be a good move for my squash too, as there are so many more good players to aspire to and opportunities for improvement in the big city.
I am now 21 and very much enjoying playing Premier grade fixtures two nights a week in the northside of Brisbane competition as well as training and hitting socially with a great group of squashies at Sandgate Squash Centre. Since i started playing at Sandgate a couple of years ago i have become a lot more invloved in the 'social side' of squash (off the court) which has added a new element to my enjoyment of the sport. In the last year i have also started managing fixture teams and running social squash nights, gained a position on the Brisbane City Squash Committee, and i'm now very close to becoming a qualified referee, and I still can't get enough squash in my life!
Hope you enjoy what i share on this page, and remember this is all to get more people talking about squash and raise the profile of the sport so please do your part and help out where you can.
